I've been writing music for other people's worlds since 2011.

It started with the RPG Maker community — small games made by people who needed music that felt personal, not stock. I was a teenager in South Jordan, Utah, writing tracks for developers I'd never meet, and something about that felt right. Music made for a specific project, by someone who actually listened to what the project needed.

That instinct took me to Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where I performed original compositions and started understanding what it means to develop a compositional voice rather than just fill a brief. From there I went to Durham University in the UK, where I completed a PhD in music composition. My research centered on fractal structures in melody — the idea that mathematical patterns you find in nature can generate musical phrases that feel organic, coherent, and completely unlike anyone else's work.

Every commission I take starts there. I'm not reaching for a style that fits a genre. I'm building something from a structural idea, which is why the pieces I make for people tend to feel like they couldn't have come from anywhere else.

I work with personal clients — people who want something made for a moment that matters: a birthday, a wedding, a project they've been building for years. I work with game developers who need audio that loops without wearing out, and that fits the emotional register of a scene rather than just filling silence. And I make royalty-free tracks available for free download, because some projects need music now and the right piece shouldn't be out of reach.
